So it took me a couple of years to learn something. Something that I already knew but couldn't integrate into practice. You see a couple of years ago I made some art that I loved. I knew it wasn't finished and I kept trying to figure out what it needed to be complete. I kept trying to change its very nature, you see. I wanted it to be "normal". But if you know me, you will realize I am anything but "normal". So why do I think my art should be normal?

I kept thinking to myself: "It's too weird. It's too dark. It's too...whatever." But ya know what? It's NOT. It is exactly what it is supposed to be and exactly what needed to be created.
So tonight when I made some weird, dark art? You know it! I realized it was exactly what I felt and boy do I love the dark shadows and the texture. It says exactly what needed to be said. And the more my art doubles down on my unique weird qualities, the better! So here we are. Too weird, too dark but JUST RIGHT!
