Last year I was unable to complete my 100 Day project but I am happy to say I was able to complete it for 2026. I am also excited that I was able to do each day on time which I don't think I have done before. Part of that was keeping it small and simple but it still felt like a lot to do some days. I am tired and glad to be finished. I really treasure and enjoy my finish sketchbooks and I love looking at them years later.
They may not seem like a lot to someone else but to me they are a part of my soul. They are proof that I existed and expressed something on paper and they are proof that I can create something from my mind and my hands. They are proof that I can do "magic" because when I was young I wanted so desperately to be an artist but I didn't think I was allowed to since I was "uncreative" and "couldn't draw". So if that is you, I want you to know it's a skill you can learn and anyone can do it if they want to put in the time and effort.
